Neuromodulators may have immediate effects, however, the full effects are seen within 7 to 14 days after injections. The treatment may take anywhere from 5-30 minutes. You may experience some minor bumps and bruises that resolve quickly. Maintenance consistency is important, especially if deep lines are already noted as they may take several treatments to smoothen them out.

DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers, include Radiesse, Restalyne, Revanesse, Juvederm, Belotero Balance, and PDO smooth threads. Keep in mind, new fillers are constantly being introduced to the industry. They all vary in some way, some are made for lips, some for mid-face volume, some for light to moderate lines. It is possible to use different fillers in one sitting for different purposes.

Just like with neuromodulators, fillers may cause bruising and swelling, and this typically resolves within a week. There is a chance of vascular compression and occlusion, however, it is not typical. With quick treatment, this can be reversed.

Each filler injection may take anywhere from 10 min and on, depending on the areas being filled. It is recommended to follow up as needed to maintain the desired look as the fillers wear out. The results achieved with fillers may last anywhere between 6 months up to 24 months, depending on the filler and of course how the individual metabolizes the filler.

CHEMICAL PEELS
